Do you notice ... ?

... how I tend to post in spurts? silence ... NOISE! ... silence ... NOISE! ... silence ... in the library, at least.

Anyway, to give you a hint [at what, I'm not sure, but do not bother me with trifles] as to the nature of those words: they all are found in Eliot's "Four Quartets" which, if you haven't read, you ought. They are terribly pithy and profound and confusing and bewildering and a little maddening and absolutely fantastic.

  4. I feel bad for people who don't get your Doctor Who allusions, but then, I've never read the "Four Quartets" which I really should....

  5. You should. Definitely some of my fav poetry. Which probably says a lot. T. S. Eliot is amazing, in general, and even if you don't actually logically understand what his words are saying, it's the underlying sense which makes you open your eyes and say, "Oh. OH. Oh my goodness!" and realize there are not just three dimensions to this world. Or any other world. Even parallel worlds have more than three dimensions, did you know?
